Passing down his passion for fine timepieces, Tom Brady has begun involving his children in his impressive watch collection.
During his first Super Bowl appearance as a broadcaster, the retired NFL star — a father of three — caught widespread attention with a striking watch adorned with sapphires and diamonds.
That eye-catching accessory, however, was not the most valuable watch Brady had with him that day.
In a YouTube video shared earlier this week, Brady disclosed that he brought along an even more extravagant timepiece worth $3 million while preparing for the New Orleans showdown.
At one point, his 15-year-old son Benjamin had the chance to wear it.
The video shows Brady instructing his son to shut his eyes and extend his arm before fastening the watch onto his wrist.
Reacting to the experience, Benjamin commented on how dazzling it felt as the watch was secured.
While Brady did not initially identify the model, Jacob & Co. later confirmed to Business Insider that the watch was the Billionaire Mini Ashoka, priced at $3 million.
Crafted from 18-carat white gold, the watch features an antireflective sapphire crystal and more than 490 diamonds of varying cuts, totaling 100.57 carats.
The brand has produced just 18 examples of this exclusive design.
Despite being labeled a “mini,” the watch Brady wore during pregame coverage carries a higher value than the one he selected for the Super Bowl broadcast itself.
For the game, Brady opted instead for a Jacob & Co. Caviar Tourbillon, a model priced at $740,000.
That watch includes 48.92 carats of sapphires and 1.32 carats of diamonds, arranged to resemble shimmering caviar.
Both watches appear to be part of the collection Brady retained after auctioning off 21 pieces in December, which collectively sold for $4.6 million.
Given the extraordinary luxury of the jewelry, it’s understandable that the moment left a strong impression on Brady’s son.
Ultimately, Benjamin summed up his reaction with a single word: “Woah.”
